Colombian Children will design Juan Pablo Montoya's helmet

The country brand Colombia is Passion and the Formula Smiles Foundation summon children between 10 and 17 years old, to be part of the contest "Design Juan Pablo Montoya's helmet with Colombia is Passion" that begins on March 1st. The winner will see his stamped drawing on Montoya's helmet and will be able to go with the driver to the Daytona's Nascar race.
The contest has two different categories (from 10 to 13 years old and 14 to 17 years old) and the topic will be Colombian biodiversity.
The contestants will have to use an inscription sheet that can be downloaded from the web pages
www.colombiaespasion.com or www.formulasonrisas.com
and deliver the design until May 20th in the urns located at Bogota, in the Formula Smiles Foundation (Calle 98 N. 14-17 OF 406), in Café Tostión and in the information points of the Unicentro Mall. Also it is possible to send them scanned to:

The selection of the first hundred drawings (fifty for each category) will be done by a committee composed by representatives of the Formula Smiles Foundation, and Colombia is Passion and a graphical designer. Of that selection, Juan Pablo Montoya will choose ten semifinalists (five of each category) and finally the winners, one for each category. One of draws will be selected to be paint on the Juan Pablo Montoya's helmet that will be use at The Coke Zero 400 Race in the Daytona International Speedway, on July 3rd.
"This contest is a great opportunity for children to express through their drawings the richness and the diversity of Colombia", said Maria Claudia Lacouture, general manager of Colombia is Passion.
The opening of the contest will have the presence of Juan Pablo Montoya, and will be launch next March 1st at 5:00 p.m. at the Unicentro Mall. |
